Biscoff Rice Krispie Treats

Biscoff Rice Krispie Treats #recipe

Summer is here, and it is hot outside.  That calls for no bake desserts.  Anything that is quick, easy, and doesn’t heat up the kitchen makes me happy right now.  It is crazy to me how busy summer time is, so I am excited if I can make a special treat, and be out of the kitchen and onto the next thing in a few minutes.

If you are a regular around here, you know that I am a fan of Biscoff spread or Cookie Butter (if you are a Trader Joe’s person).  It works great in place of peanut butter, if you have any peanut allergies in your house.  Target now carries Biscoff spread, so it should be relatively easy for you to find too.

I have actually made these bars a couple times now, and they always disappear quickly.  I personally would be happy with just a spoon and a bowl full of the chocolate layer on top!  The rice krispie treat part is dense from the Biscoff spread, but still gooey from the marshmallows.  I am not a huge Rice Krispie treat fan, but I could eat these all day, every day and be a happy girl.  These are a definite keeper in my house!

  4. To prepare the topping microwave chocolate chips and biscoff spread for 1 minute, stir and repeat in 30 second intervals until smooth.
  5. Pour over Rice Krispies.
  6. Let the chocolate completely set up, before cutting into squares.
  7. Store in an air tight container for up to 5 days

  1. Oh Biscoff, how I love thee. Let me count the ways you’re awesome:
    1) you taste phenomenal, like unicorns dancing in my mouth
    2) you’re starring in one of my all-time favorite desserts, KRISPY TREATS.
    3) you’re no-bake
    4) I’m tired of listing reasons why I love you, so take my word for it and get in my mouthhole.

  2. Mmmm…cookie butter…. the best!!

  3. Ooo, these look scrumptious, Erin! I’ve so been in the mood for a crisp, chocolaty treat lately and these are right up my alley. Lovely recipe!

  4. We just got Biscoff here in the UK (although it’s not actually called Biscoff, but it’s still by Lotus, lol).

What a great way to incorporate it into some treats. Bookmarking this to make. It’ll be my first ever time using the Biscoff spread (other than spreading on kiddy sammies).

I still have yet to try it!

    • You will have to let me know what you think!! Lotus bakeries is the company that makes Biscoff – so I guess they are just using their company name for the product there :)

  5. You know I’m a cookie butter fan, love these!

  6. Oh my, these bars are calling my name! They sound wonderful!

  7. These bars look FANTASTIC! I still need to jump on the biscoff train – perhaps these might be the first recipe I try. Yum!

  10. I have no doubt in my mind these bars would disappear quickly! They look amazing Erin – I loooooove Biscoff. Like seriously – in.love!!

  11. As much as peanut butter is still my favorite spread, I love that you substituted with biscoff!

  12. This is so incredible! I don’t know if I’m more excited about the biscoff part or the melted chocolate on top!
