Quite the time to live in Colorado! The Broncos win the Super Bowl and the whole state goes crazy! My 10 year old is a Green Bay Packer fan first, but the Broncos are a close 2nd. So he is over the top happy. We had to go to the store at 8am (before school) on Monday, so he could get a Super Bowl Champions shirt. And he wasn’t the only one. The store opened at 6am on Monday. Seriously, crazy! Who goes to buy Broncos shirts at 6am? Crazy sports fan, I guess.
I have been wanting to make dessert in the crock pot for a long time. But for some reason I kept putting it off. I have no idea why! Finally I bit the bullet and I could not be more happy with the results. Seriously, fudgy brownies that require almost no work! Enjoy them warm with ice cream and hot fudge for the most sinful dessert! Hot fudge crock pot brownies are pretty much a staple for me from now on.
I made a little how to video of these hot fudge crock pot brownies, to show you just how easy they are. I used a brownie mix, and just followed the instructions on the box to make the batter. Then you whip up a little hot fudge sauce and pour over the batter. Don’t mix it or touch it! The hot fudge will cook up and soak into brownies as they cook. The result is super fudgy and delicious brownies! Your life will never be the same again! Crock pot desserts are definitely a thing that needs to happen more often.

- 1 Brownie Mix, plus ingredients listed on the box to make the batter (box for 13x9 inch pan)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- Prepare the brownie batter as directed on the box.
- Pour into crock pot
- In a small bowl whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, and boiling water. Pour gently over brownie batter, not mixing or stirring at all.
- Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or until done.
- Best served warm.
