I like wine. Mainly I like red wine, but every once in a while I like a good chilled crisp white wine. Especially in the summer. Another thing I like is Moscato. When I lived in Iowa, my friend Katie and I would often have a girls night in, with a bottle, or two, of our favorite Moscato. Often mixed with POM juice to make these Bellini’s.
So when Moscato contacted me to see if I was interested in trying out some of their products, I couldn’t answer fast enough. The only problem. Katie is not here to sample them with me. So what is a girl to do? Make the best of it, and turn one of them into Sangria! I mean, I know one of the bottles was a Sangria already, but I wanted to try my own version.
I wanted to use fall fruits in here. I went with apples and raspberries, but you could really use whatever you want. This was the perfect sweet, fizzy, and delicious treat for a Saturday afternoon. And wine soaked apples are delicious to snack on. They are apples, so it was a healthy snack, right?
