We are only 15 days way from Christmas! Eeek! I can’t believe it is so close! Are you ready? Have you done all of your shopping? Do you have your meals planned? Have you done all of your baking? I think I am done with most of the shopping, but that is where it all ends! I have so many ideas of what else I want to bake, and so little time to get it done. As for meals, I am not sure. There is some tradition to be lived up to, but then this is our first year in Colorado and everything is going to be a little different. So there is still plenty of planning to be done. My husband and son are ready for Christmas, they would be be happy if we could wake up tomorrow and have it be the big day!
This is what I was up to this week:
Hershey’s Peppermint Macadamia Oatmeal Cookies – The perfect Holiday version of a classic White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie.
Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup – Comforting and hearty bowl of soup. Filled with lots of chicken and wild rice.
Holly Wreaths – Virtual Cookie exchange with Three Little Piglets, class Spritz cookies.
Peanut Butter Brownie Bites – Mini brownies filled with peanut butter and topped with chocolate chips.
Cranberry Applesauce Muffins – Cranberry muffins made with applesauce and pecans.
Here are a few things I bookmarked this week:
Cheddar Ale Soup on Pretzel Bowls by Fake Ginger – My husband is going to love this! And Pretzel bowls? Genius!
Asian Turkey Meatballs by Gina’s Skinny Tastes – I love meatballs, and I love Asian flavors. I can’t wait to try these.
Peppermint Chocolate Mousse by Epicurean Mom – How decadent and delicious. Chocolate and Peppermint are wonderful together.
Red Velvet Brownies with White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting by Smells Like Home – These just look amazing, and they are red! Perfect for Christmas!
Chicken Tikka Masala by The Blackpeppercorn – We eat a lot of Indian food at home, this looks like a must try!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
