We are almost to the middle of August, and schools are starting around the country. We still have a little over a week until school starts here. My 7 year old says he isn’t sure he is ready, but I think he is. He has had fun this summer, but he is ready to be back to a routine, and see his friends every day. My parents are coming this week, so we will get to have one last week of fun before structure begins!
Here is what I was up to this week:
Healthy Peanut Butter Cups – Secret Recipe Club Reveal Day! Peanut Butter Cups made with coconut oil, honey, and cocoa powder – so you don’t have to feel as guilty eating them.
Blueberry Banana Bread - A classic banana quick bread filled with lots of fresh plump blueberries.
Avocado Bruschetta – I love fresh avocados, and this is a great way to use them. A twist on your classic Bruschetta with avocados!
Vanilla Granola – Homemade granola is so quick and easy. This has lots of vanilla flavor, walnuts and dried cranberries.
S’mores Brownie Cookies - Friday was National S’mores Day, and I celebrated with these rich and chocolatey cookies!
