This is a sponsored post for Breyers.
It is hot out, so to me that means ice cream and frozen treats! I am not a huge fan of just a plain bowl of ice cream, I love mine loaded up with toppings. That is, unless the ice cream itself is filled with extra yummy goodness 🙂 Even then, I have been known to put a drizzle of hot fudge on top. I don’t have ice cream that often, so I kind have a “go big or go home” attitude about it.
I was pretty excited when Breyers contacted me to see if I was interested in trying their new line of toppings. Breyers has always been my go to brand with ice cream, so I figured the toppings would have to be good as well.
This is a pretty complete line of toppings. It starts with the sauces; Hot Fudge, Caramel, and Chocolate. No high fructose corn syrup will be found in any of the toppings from Breyers. The sauces come in a little squeezable pouch, that is microwavable. It is great for even heating, and pouring without any sticky, messy spoons. These sauces are disappearing very quickly in my house, I am going to have to go stock up for the rest of the summer.
Strawberry, Cherry, and Mixed Berry are the fruit toppings. And guess what? They are made with real fruit. No artificial colors or flavors, and no preservatives are used in any of these sauces. My husband loves fresh homemade strawberry sauce, so he is pretty picky about the store bought kind. But he thought this was pretty darn good, and if you know him, you know this means it is good!
And what is an ice cream sundae without sprinkles, or jimmies if that is what you call them. We have an on going debate in my house as to what the proper name is. I think sprinkles, my husband says jimmies. And my 8 year old will side with anything his dad says, so I am in the minority. Breyers has rainbow sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles. Both have no partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil in them.
I am honestly really impressed with the whole line of toppings. I even highly recommended them to a friend who was doing an ice cream sundae bar for her daughter’s high school graduation party. The entire line of toppings should be available at Walmart and Target stores nation wide.
Now for the giveaway!! Breyers wants to give 2 (two) lucky readers a set of their own toppings.
