Do you have a foodie in your life? Here is the complete Foodie Gift Buying Guide so you can give them a great Christmas!
The holidays are right around the corner. Are you ready? Today I am here to help make sure the Foodie in your life is taken care of. I mean, what else does a foodie want, other than great kitchen items so they can make even better meals.
So of the items below are items I own and absolutely love, and others are things that are on my list this year. You can never have enough kitchen items. So even if your Foodie has a kitchen full of “things” they still want more!
Let’s start at the top of the image above and work our way down.
Spatulas – GIR Spatulas are my absolute favorite spatulas. They are all one piece, heat safe, and never break. They come in a bunch of different colors, and sizes. This is one item you can never have enough of!
Muffin Tins – Whether you are making muffins or cupcakes these pans are the best. They are non-stick and your baked goods just slide out. I have a mix of 12 cup and 6 cup and they are used all the time!
Air Fryer – I have actually never tried an air fryer before, but I am very curious. I have heard of a few friends who love it. They use it for frozen french fries, but also veggies. Instead of turning on the oven to roast veggies, they throw them in air fryer.
Cooling Racks – If you are baking cakes or cookies, or even muffins having a good cooling rack is a must. I love these, because I can throw them in the dishwasher and they do not rust or get discolored.
Kitchen Aid Stick Blender – I have had my stick blender for almost 10 years and still use it all the time. It is great to puree a soup or even to make a protein shake. Once you have one you will wonder how you lived without it.
Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer – every cook needs a stand mixer. If you are going to bake cookies, make a cake, or bake bread it is a must. Plus you can even shred chicken in it! I got my first one when I was still in college, and it is still used today.
Instant Pot – I was on the fence about getting and Instant pot, but this summer I bit the bullet and finally bought one. I am so glad I did. It cooks chicken so fast, and it stays moist and tender. Plus makes soup in minutes, roasts that fall apart they are so tender. This is a must for the busy family.
Silicon Baking Mats – baking mats make pretty much anything you bake come off the tray super easy. Pizza, cookies, bread…pretty much anything. Even baked on cheese just slides off and cleans up easily.
Le Creuset Baking Dish – This baking dish is great to use as a serving dish for vegetables or to bake dips in. It comes in multiple sizes, so you can make the perfect gratin or whip up a cheese dip.
Cutting Boards – I think these Epicurean cutting boards are perfect for the every day cook. They do not warp like plastic ones and you can throw them in the dishwasher.
Sheet Pans – These are my favorite sheet pans. They are pretty basic, but they hold their shape, clean up easily and the heat evenly, so your food turns out great every time.
Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer – I just recently got this hand mixer, and I am annoyed with myself that I waited for so long. It is great to you when the stand mixer is over kill. Or when you just need to mix up something quickly. I like to use it for whipped cream when I don’t want to haul out the big mixer.
Drying Mat – This microfiber mat is great for putting on the counter when you have dishes to do. I have a dishwasher, so use it for when I have pots and pans to wash. It is padded, and absorbs all the water, so my counter isn’t a mess. And I can just throw it in the washing machine if it is dirty.
Liquid Measuring Cups – These Pryex cups are my favorite. I use them for just about everything. Prepping ingredients, measuring and even storage sometimes. They are great to have in a few different sizes.
Global Knives – I will rave about these knives to anyone who will listen. I have had them for about 14 years, and they are my favorite. My husband bought them for me shortly after we got married, and I still use them every single day.
Calphalon Baking Dish – This non-stick baking dish is my favorite. It heats evenly, so my bars turn out perfectly every time. Plus it comes with a lid that fits tightly to keep your baked goods fresh.
There you have it. My gift buying guide for the foodie in your life! I hope you found something that your Foodie will like and can make their holiday complete.
