GOOD THiNS Snacks – Snacking just got more fun! Great ingredients and something you can feel good about giving your kids or eating yourself.
Today is the science fair for my 10 year old! After school today my son gets to go back to school and show off his science project. I think he might be as excited as I am that it is finally here as I am. The only down side is his math teacher is going to start giving them homework again. You can just never win when you are a 5th grader! Tomorrow he gets to take advantage of all the snow the mountains have been getting though; we are going skiing with my brother! So I guess it is all about balance.
I am always on the hunt for new snacks. My son comes home from school starving, every single day. Not to mention, I can’t make it through the day without snacks. I mean, what is a life without snacks?! But I don’t want something with 345 ingredients that I can read or identify. I want something with real wholesome ingredients. So I was really excited when I found these new GOOD THiNS snacks when I was at Safeway recently. So many flavors to try: GOOD THiNS Sweet Potato, GOOD THiNS Chickpea Garlic and Herb, GOOD THiNS Original Potato, GOOD THiNS Potato Spinach & Garlic, GOOD THiNS Rice Veggie Blend.
I started with GOOD THiNS Chickpea Garlic and Herb and GOOD THiNS Original Potato. I could not have been more pleased. I will admit I was kind of skeptical how they were going to taste after reading the claim on the box: “We have 60% less fat than the leading regular fried potato chip”. But they were darn right addictive; light, crunchy, not greasy and so good! And the Chickpea one is made with real chickpeas! But you would never know, just lots of garlic and herb flavor. Great on their own or serve with fruit or veggie sticks for a quick and easy snack!

Good luck to your son at the science fair. I remember 5th grade as being the hardest year in elementary school! Those snacks look so good. I can just imagine how they taste. Will be checking them out.
