Pomegranate prosecco in a cup

Today is New Year’s Eve!!  What do you have planned?  Are you going out tonight?  Are you hosting a party?  Do you just stay in, and hang out with your family?  We just stay in.  My birthday is tomorrow and my parents are here this year, so we will probably go out to dinner to celebrate, then hang out. We will see if we even make it to midnight!

Pomegranate prosecco in a cup

For those of you hosting parties, or even just hanging out, I have a fun and festive drink for your night.  This is really easy to make.  I just put a few pomegranate seeds in a glass, squeezed in some lime juice, and topped with Prosecco (a sweet champagne).  The lime adds a little tart to the sweet champagne, and it is just a little different than plain champagne.

I hope that you had a great 2012, and that your 2013 is even better!
