It has been awhile since I have done a Week in Review, it is time to get back on track. Between packing, moving, unpacking and Thanksgiving I let some things slip. But we are all settled in our townhouse and making progress on building a house, so it is time to get back on track!
This has been a busy week. My 6 year old didn’t have school on Monday, so that made it a short week. I debuted the new blog!! I am so excited to have my own domain and my own site. It has been a huge learning curve, and I have a long way to go, but I am getting there.
We are getting our Christmas tree this weekend, and then I will officially be in the Holiday Spirit! Let the Christmas baking begin!
Here is what I was up to this week:
Cranberry Bread– A quick bread with Cranberries and a hint of Orange
Peanut Butter Bars – Like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? These taste so much like them with no baking required
Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes – Cute little cupcakes that taste like the filling to pumpkin pie
Party Mix – A snack mix that is a Holiday tradition at our house
Smokey Garlic Chicken Pasta – Quick and easy pasta dinner. Smokey and garlicy pasta, filled with chicken and bacon
Here are a few things I have bookmarked this week:
Classic Dinner Rolls by Cooking on the Side – I love making fresh bread with dinner, these rolls look perfect!
Asian Chicken Noodle Soup – by Eat, Live, Run – My husband will be all over this, perfect flavors, just a little spicy!
Peppermint Bark by Baked by Rachel – I love simple but elegant desserts for the Holidays. If I could only get my hands on this mold!
Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies by Tidy Mom – I made these last Christmas, but had lost the recipe . Can’t wait to make them again!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
