Yay for the weekend! It has been a long week, and I am pretty darn excited that we have a 3 day weekend here. My son and husband both have off on Monday for Presidents Day. So that means 3 days of sleeping in, being lazy, and enjoying time together as a family. I think we may head up to the mountains to go snow shoeing, but we don’t have to leave first thing for that. Plus, in my late 30’s with a 10 year old who has never liked to sleep late, sleeping in for me is 7:30.
Plus this weekend is Valentine’s Day! Do you have plans? We hardly ever do much to celebrate. My husband used to buy me truffles each year from my favorite chocolate shop. But then we moved, and are 800 miles away from it. So that doesn’t happen anymore. Thinking the double peanut butter molten lava cake from the meal plan this week might turn into our Valentine’s Day dessert.
So, the meal plan. Looks like another tasty week. Quick and easy one pot meals, crazy over the top chili dogs, and great side dishes. A great meal plan this week, so get out that pen and make your grocery list!
