Happy Saturday! I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend planned. It has been one busy week here, so I am ready for a nice and relaxing weekend. We are headed up to the mountains to go hiking for the day though, so I guess it won’t really be relaxing. But the cool weather up there, even for just a couple of hours, will be a welcome change! It has been a crazy hot summer, so a day where it is not 95º + , will be nice. Then it is time to prep for the week ahead. My son has a busy week of early morning cross country practice, and he gets to golf with this Grandpa a couple times!
Monday – Soup/Salad/Seafood/Chicken – start the week off with something a little lighter.
Tuesday – Mexican – Tacos, enchiladas and more!
Wednesday – Pasta/Italian – pasta doesn’t have to mean Italian, so look for all sorts of fun dishes.
Thursday – Rice/Asian – recipes from all over the work that are easy to make in your own home.
Friday – Cocktails! Take a night off from cooking and enjoy a fun cocktail to end the week.
Saturday – Anything goes – Mix it up a little bit – breakfast for dinner, casseroles, easy…you name it!
Sunday – Grilling – the weather is nice so try to get out and cook something outside!
