Walnut Blondies - rich and butter blondies filled with walnuts. The perfect treat to enjoy with a cup of tea!
- 1/4 cup butter , melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350. Butter or grease an 8 inch square baking pan.
Stir melted butter and brown sugar with a wooden spoon until blended.
Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder.
Fold in walnuts.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool before slicing.
