Brown the sausage patties in a large skillet until they're cooked all the way through.

While the sausages cook, place the bottom of the slider buns in a 9-inch baking dish.

Spread half the cheese over the slider buns, then add a sausage patty on top of each bun.
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Add the eggs and milk to a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper. Whisk until well combined.

Wipe most of the sausage grease from the skillet, then add the eggs. Cook over medium heat while stirring frequently until the eggs are mostly set but not hard.
Top the sausage patties with the scrambled eggs, then top with the rest of the cheese. Place the slider buns on top.
Combine the melted butter with the maple syrup, then brush the mixture over the top of the buns.

Bake the sliders until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden-brown, about 18-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chives, and serve while hot.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a microwave in 20-second increments.
You can assemble breakfast sliders the day before, and store in the fridge covered in plastic wrap or aluminum foil before baking.
