Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispie Bars are an easy no-bake dessert loaded with chocolate and peanut butter. They are almost fudgy and will disappear in no time
Line an 13x9 inch baking dish with parchment paper or spray well with non-stick spray. Set aside.
Add peanut butter and chocolate chips to a large microwave safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute. Stir well, until smooth and completely melted. If necessary, return to the microwave for 20-30 more seconds.
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup creamy peanut butter
Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal, and mix until well coated.
6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
Press into prepared pan.
Heat peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl for 15-20 seconds, until it is smooth and easy to drizzle. Drizzle over the top of the bars.
Let them set up for 4-5 hours for the chocolate to completely harden, you can speed this up by putting in the fridge. Slice and serve.
3 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
Notes
If you want thicker bars, you can use a 9-inch square pan
