Crispy Smashed Potatoes Recipe - These smashed potatoes are baked until they are crispy and delicious! Topped with a plenty of garlic to make them the perfect side dish for any night of the week.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add 2 teaspoons salt and potatoes. Cook for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are just fork tender. If they are smaller it could be less time. Drain well
1.5 pounds baby red or yellow potatoes, 2 teaspoons salt
Arrange potatoes on a lined baking sheet. Use a potato masher, fork, or bottom of a measuring cup to gently press down on the potatoes. Be careful not to completely smash them.
Combine butter and garlic together and brush over the potatoes. Sprinkle each potato with a little bit of salt and pepper.
3 Tablespoons melted butter, 4 cloves garlic, Salt & Pepper black pepper
Drizzle just a little bit of olive oil over the potatoes.
