Mix together cream of mushroom soup, beefy mushroom soup and onion soup mix until combined.
10 oz cream of mushroom soup, 10 oz beefy mushroom soup, 1 oz onion soup mix
Pour over beef and stir until well coated.
3 pounds stew meat
Spread into an even layer in a 13x9 inch casserole dish. Cover tightly with foil.
Place in oven and cook for 2 1/2- 3 hours (see notes), no peaking!
Remove from the oven and stir before serving.
Notes
The cooking time will depend on how big your cuts of meat are. Traditional stew meat from the store can be small, and will take closer to 2 1/2 hours. If you cut it yourself or you have larger pieces it will be about 3 hours.
