Ingredients
1/2
cup
unsalted butter
melted
1
cup
light brown sugar
1/2
cup
creamy peanut butter
1
whole large egg
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1
cup
all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon
baking powder
1
cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350º F. Line an 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease well.
In a bowl whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth and well combined.
Add flour and baking powder and mix until mostly combined, a few white streaks remaining is ok.
Add the chocolate chips, reserving a few for sprinkling on top if desired, and mix until evenly distributed and the flour is fully incorporated.
Pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top if desired.
Bake for 22-25 minutes until the top is dry and completely set and a tester comes out mostly clean. A few wet crumbs are ok, just not raw batter.
Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing.
