Homemade Strawberry Milk
Homemade Strawberry Milk - use fresh strawberries to make a homemade version of the store bought powdered strawberry milk. Super easy and so much better than the powder!

chopped strawberries

sugar

Instructions
Combine chopped strawberries, sugar and water into a saucepan and bring to a low boil.
Cook the strawberries for about 10 minutes, stirring often. You want the berries to break down and turn into a thick syrup.
Pour the berry mixture through a strainer. You can discard the berries or use them for something else. For the milk we just need the syrup.
Let the syrup sit in the fridge to get nice and cold before you make your milk.
Add about 3 Tbsp of the syrup to a cup of milk. You can play with the ratio to get the color and flavor that you like.
Notes
If you want your milk to be more pink, you can add a couple drops of food coloring, but it is definitely not required!
