Skinny Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins - a lightened up (but you would never know it) banana muffin with chocolate chips. They freeze well, so you can always have them on hand for quick breakfasts.

Ingredients

medium sized bananas
, mashed

plain Greek yogurt

vanilla extract

whole large egg

honey or agave
or maple syrup

light brown sugar

white whole wheat flour
or all-purpose flour

baking powder

teaspoon
baking soda

mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350º F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with liners, or spray with non-stick spray.
In a large bowl combine bananas, Greek yogurt, egg, honey and brown sugar until well blended.
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips.
Add flour mixture to banana mixture, and stir until just combined.
Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full.
Bake for 14-16 minutes, until a tester comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
