Ingredients

plus 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

baking soda

teaspoon
salt

butter
melted and slightly cooled

brown sugar
1/2
cup
sugar

whole egg
1
egg yolk
2
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 1/2
cups
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven 325°.
In a bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside
In an electric mixer combine melted butter, brown sugar and sugar until well combined. Beat in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.
Slowly mix in flour mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop about 2 tbls size balls of dough onto a baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set.
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
