Avocado fries are golden and crispy on the outside and warm and creamy on the inside. They're quick to make in the air fryer (or oven). Don't forget the dipping sauce!
Set up a breading station with 3 bowls. Bowl 1 mix together flour, chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. Bowl 2 whisk together egg and water until well combined. Bowl 3 breadcrumbs.
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1 whole large egg, 1 Tablespoon water, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 cup plain panko breadcrumbs
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and the skin. Cut each avocado into about 8 slices.

Dip each slice into the flour mixture, gently shake off the excess. Place in the egg to coat evenly, and then dredge into the breadcrumbs to evenly coat. Repeat with the rest of the slices.
Arrange slices in air fryer. Spray with oil. Cook for 8 minutes at 390ºF, flipping about half way through.

Alt – Preheat oven to 425º F. Place slices on a lined baking sheet, spray with oil and cook for 12 minutes, flipping half way through.
