Spicy Cajun Dipping Sauce – this makes a great dip crunch fish sticks, topping for burgers, or even just a dip with chips. Perfectly creamy with a little kick!
My family likes their condiments. We don’t have many dinners, that don’t have a couple bottles of something, or bowls of sauces on the table. Sometimes store bought sauces just don’t give you the flavor you want, so you need to mix it up on your own.
Copycat Red Lobster Tarter Sauce pretty much beats any store bought one you can buy, and takes 5 minutes to mix up. Dipping sauce recipes are pretty easy to make, you just add in some flavors that go well together, and mix. Spice, a little acid, and plenty of creamy goodness!
We first made this cajun dipping sauce to serve with shrimp cakes instead of the avocado salsa we normally make. We all loved it so much, we started eating it with chips as a dip. And putting it on burgers and sandwiches.
Today we are serving them with Gorton’s Seafood Smart & Crunch Fish Sticks. They have half the fat of traditional fish sticks, but all the flavor you know and love. And it is made by Gorton’s, so you know you can trust the quality.
Gorton’s has been around for 167 years. Any company that can last that long, you know you can trust their products. I grew up having Gorton’s fish sticks at least once a week while my mom went back to school. My dad was in charge of dinner while she was finishing her degree, and fish sticks was what he could handle.
Fish sticks and tater tots was one night, the other night was take out pizza. Pretty sure he didn’t whip up a homemade dipping sauce with our fish either.
I am happy that I can share the same fish sticks with my family today, but when we are trying to eat better, the Smart & Crunchy Fish sticks are a must! And with this cajun dipping sauce, the entire family is happy!
So whether you need a dip for chips, want a dipping sauce recipe so you can mix it up when you make fish sticks or fish fillets, or just want to try something new on your sandwich. This spicy cajun dipping sauce comes together in 5 minutes and will be a great addition to just about anything.

I love a good dip, and this looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it with my chicken tenders!
Ooo This sounds delicious! I was looking for a creamy spicy dip that doesnโt use sriracha. Only because I donโt have any on hand. This sounds simple and delicious for anything!!
Excellent recipe! I used the recipe in 1 dipping cup and I used a separate dipping cup and added Heinz Relish! Both were awesome! Thank you!
