Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies – thick and fudgy homemade brownies in a deep dark red color, swirled with cream cheese throughout. Red Velvet Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies look just as good as they taste!
I think we all know that brownies are probably my favorite thing. There is just something about homemade brownies that makes them extra special. And when you make brownies from scratch it means you can do things like make red velvet cheesecake brownies!
This time of year red velvet is the hit of every in any way shape or form. I made this red velvet skillet cookie last year and it is so good served warm topped with ice cream. Definitely a good way to end your Valentine’s Day.

These red velvet cream cheese swirl brownies are super fudgy and the perfect Valentine’s day treat. You get 2 desserts in one! A fudgy brownie and a swirl of vanilla cheesecake all in one!
Knowing how to make brownies is super easy. For this version I melted the chocolate and butter together, in a small sauce pan on the stove. You do not want to get it too hot, or you will cook the eggs when you when you mix them in. So a low heat is perfect and makes for super fudgy brownies.

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookie Bars are another favorite with a swirl of cheesecake in the middle. I mean, can you ever really go wrong with a cream cheese swirl?
Brownies made from scratch are the best kind. This are a bright red color with a hint of chocolate, and plenty of tang for the classic red velvet flavor. They are sweet, but not overly sweet, so they are a great way to end a meal.
Skip the box mix brownies, or the red velvet brownies that start with a box mix of some kind. These homemade brownies are so much better, and only take a tiny bit more work to make!
