Spicy Fish Sandwich – Crispy fish sandwich with creamy coleslaw and a spicy tarter sauce. Easy dinner recipe for night of the week.
My family loves fish and seafood in just about any form. I always have fish and shrimp in my freezer for quick and easy dinners. Like this Buffalo Shrimp Po’ Boy. Definitely a family favorite.
Fish and Chips are pretty much 1 of my guys favorite things to order out. And thanks to my copycat Red Lobster Tartar sauce we can make it at home now too.

I am excited to be back, working with Gorton’s Seafood again. I have shared a handful of recipes using their products over the last year. This one features their fish sandwich fillets. They are made with 100% real fish, so you know they taste great.

- Fish Fillets
- Sandwich Buns
- Coleslaw Mix
- Mayo – could swap for Greek yogurt if desired
- Sugar
- Cider Vinegar
- Dijon Mustard
- Salt & Pepper
- Tartar Sauce
- Cajun Seasoning – can use store bought or a Homemade Cajun Seasoning is easy to throw together if you don’t have any.
- Hot Sauce

My family loves things spicy, so I doctored up some tartar sauce to give it a little kick. Mix that with creamy coleslaw and a crispy fish fillet for one good sandwich. To make it even better, I served them on homemade pretzel rolls. Now, that part is optional but to take it over the top, it is required.
Gorton’s has been around for 167 years. Any company that can last that long, you know you can trust their products. Over the years they have definitely grown and adapted with the time, and the fish sandwich fillets are one of our new favorites.

This Spicy Fish Sandwich has the cool, creamy, and crunchy texture from the coleslaw with the spicy and tangy coleslaw. It is great for busy weeknights, lunch over the weekend, or any time. Skip the spicy tartar sauce, and your kids will love them too!
Next time you are at the store, grab a bag of fish sandwich fillets, and you can whip up these sandwiches in minutes any night of the week.
