Garlic Rosemary Scented Almonds – lightly toasted almonds with rosemary and garlic. They make a great snack, topping for a salad or gift.
Almonds and nuts are such a great thing to snack on. But sometimes they get boring! They have all those flavored nuts in the store, but why not just make your own spiced nuts? Spicy Honey Roasted Almonds are a fun sweet and spicy version you can make.
These toasted almonds are coated in garlic and rosemary, which is such a great combination together. They are down right addicting and hard to stay away from too!
I love having spiced nuts around the house to snack on. I often send in a container for my husband to have at his desk at work. They make for a quick healthy snack. You can double or even triple the recipe as well to make a huge batch to have on hand, so you don’t have to worry about what the whole family is going to snack on.
I make these toasted almonds as part of gifts to give friends, teachers and neighbors every year. I am pretty sure that rosemary is my favorite herb, and it goes so well on these almonds.
These rosemary almonds come together in about 15 minutes, so they are super quick and easy to make. And if you have never had warm nuts, then you are missing out! These almonds are just lightly toasted in a sauce pan while the garlic heats and infuses flavor in the nuts.
How do you Pan Roast Almonds
You don’t need an oven to roast almonds, you can do it in a skillet on the stove. You just melt your oil or butter, depending on how you are flavoring them and then add the almonds to the pan. Let the almonds sit for 1-2 minutes and then make sure to stir them. You don’t want them to burn, just get slightly toasted.
Rosemary almonds make a great snack to have on hand or even an appetizer for a party. I like to store them in glass jars so you can see what they are in the pantry. But any air tight container will work great.
This method for toasting the almonds works great with other herbs as well. So if you really like thyme or sage or even a mixture of herbs, you can just follow the directions and use your favorite herbs! You can use the same method for other snacks as well! These Curried Pretzels are always a hit when I bring them out.

I would love a jar of these. I have not been out of the house since the 24th. I decided I needed to miss the sales this year... that was part of my husband's Christmas present. :) LOL!
