Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri – nothing beats a strawberry daiquiri!  This frozen version is so easy you can make it all summer long!

Are you a margarita person or a daiquiri lover?  I feel like most people are one or the other.  I like both, but almost always order a margarita at a restaurant.  My mom though, she picks a strawberry daiquiri every time.

So this recipe is for her.  They are so easy to make at home, and you can use whatever fruit you want to flavor it.  I love strawberries in pretty much anything, so it is my go to. Strawberry Moscow Mules might be my new favorite.

The main different between a daiquiri and a margarita is the alcohol.  Margaritas use tequila, and daiquiris use rum. Aside from that, they use pretty much the same ingredients. Lime juice is a must in both.  And then you add whatever fruit you want.  Fruity cocktails like Strawberry Rum Punch are kind of my favorite.

I like frozen daiquiris. You can probably make them just cold on the rocks like you would  a margarita. But in my mind they are meant to be slushie!  Frozen strawberries work so well to get all the strawberry flavor, and make them slushie. So that is exactly what this strawberry daiquiri recipe is – frozen, slushie, but drinkable through a straw.

So how to make a strawberry daiquiri?  Really it is super easy!  Just add all the ingredients to the blender and let it go!  I use a mix of frozen berries and fresh berries.  The fresh berries give it enough liquid so it isn’t like eating ice cream. Or you could add more rum to thin it out, but then you are getting into the way to strong for me territory!

It is good to have a few classic cocktails up your sleeve, so aren’t only having a bottle of wine or beer at home.  A traditional Vodka Cranberry is something you can whip up in seconds any night of the week.

So are you a fruity cocktail fan or more of a vodka soda fan? I love a good fruity cocktail, and this strawberry daiquiri recipe is one of my favorites.  I have been a large batch and then just having a pitcher when friends show up.

Either way, you will need to try this Easy Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri – you will not be disappointed!  Or try this No Bake Strawberry Daiquiri Cheesecake for dessert – such a fun idea!
