I don’t know about you, but the weeks just seem to get away from me. I have been married to my husband for 16 years, and I have no idea where all those years have gone. It is important to make time for each other and spend quality time together, despite how crazy life gets.
If you have been here before, you know I think a home cooked meal is important and doesn’t have to take a lot of time to make. You can make a one pan dinner recipe any night of the week and have dinner at home together. And shrimp pasta recipes are some of my favorite to make.
When I think of a romantic meal that I want to share with my husband a few things come to mind. But a creamy and luscious pasta is right up there. Often times when we have a night out we will pick and Italian restaurant to go to. Before we had our son and lived in Minnesota, a night out was always Victoria’s. Such great Italian food! So why not enjoy a quick and easy fettuccine Alfredo recipe at home. It means way more date nights!
This shrimp fettuccine Alfredo comes together in just one pan, and is done in about 20 minutes. So even if you are rushed, have kids to feed, practice to get to….whatever. You can enjoy a delicious plate of warm shrimp alfredo pasta together.
Today I am partnering with DaVinci pasta to show you that date night doesn’t have to be reserved for special occasions. You can make them at home any night of the week.
Shrimp pasta recipes are great for date night and for any night of the week. It is great because they come together in just minutes. How to cook shrimp perfectly for pasta is key to making sure your shrimp alfredo pasta is over the top amazing. You don’t want to over cook it or it will be rubbery. And you want your pasta to be extra creamy and delicious.
This shrimp alfredo recipe comes together in minutes, and your whole family is going to love it. I like to use a mix of heavy cream and chicken stock to make it not super heavy. If you want to use all heavy cream you can definitely make it that way.
