My son and I have been in Wisconsin for a week now, and he has not had a moment of not having fun. Between both grandparents, visiting friends in Iowa, and me being away he is in heaven. Tomorrow my husband arrives to spend the weekend here, before we all head back home. It will be nice to have him her for a couple days, this summer has been so busy it doesn’t seem like we have spent that much time together recently. The 4th of July is this weekend, do you have any plans?

Magic Shell has always been one of my favorite things to put on ice cream. It really is magic how you can just pour it over your ice cream, and seconds later it is hard. It is such a fun idea! But seriously, making it at home is so darn easy!! I am sure you have the ingredients in your kitchen right now. And you can get it done in just a couple minutes. Cheaper and easier than going to the store to buy it. This peanut butter magic shell should come as no surprise to you, you know I am obsessed with all things peanut butter. Now if you put it on top of chocolate ice cream, then you really have the best combinations!
So this summer when you are enjoying that giant bowl of ice cream because it is 98 degrees outside, and you are about to melt. Top it with peanut butter magic shell! It is like being a kid again, only tastier. You can totally mix up the flavors as well. I have done Nutella magic shell before as well. Next time I am trying it with Biscoff spread.
Peanut Butter Magic Shell
Peanut Butter Magic Shell - Ditch the store bought magic shell for your ice cream, and make your own peanut butter magic shell at home. Just 2 ingredients, and a couple minutes!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 3 Tbls butter, (or coconut oil)
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, melt together peanut butter and butter. Stir until well blended.
- Let sit for a few minutes to cool.
- Pour over your favorite ice cream.
- Store at room temperature.

I loooooove magic shell! I just posted a version the other day but your peanut butter version trumps it, big time! Love this!
