I have a few cocktails here on the blog already, but I have to be honest with you.  I kind of have no idea what I am doing.  I am not very experienced with different alcohols; vodka, gin, rum, tequila. I mean, I know tequila goes with margaritas, and rum goes with coke, but that is kind of where it ends.  I am not sure I have ever even had gin.  If I go out for drinks I usually have a margarita, red wine, or beer, so my knowledge is limited.  Not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

I had an idea in my head for a flavor I wanted to achieve.  I wasn’t exactly sure how to get there, but after a few attempts I got it!  I made this for some friends we had over last week.  I forgot to add the Sprite when I made them that time, and they were still good!  So if you wanted to do away with the fizz, it still works out.  You can make a big pitcher of these to have ready for a party or for the big game.  Just serve over ice, and enjoy!  But not too many, because that would be bad.

  1. What a terrific citrus cocktail, Erin. I tend to only make cocktails when we have company…and now I have a long list I want to try 🙂

  2. This cocktail makes me day-dream of a sunny beach with my fear it might be snowed in by the end of the day

  3. Sounds delicious and refreshing. Now I just need some warm weather and a porch to sit on while sipping these. 🙂

  4. I don’t drink any alcohol (allergic), but I can sure do this “virgin” can’t I?

It’s so refreshing to see this post. Glad to be back here!
