Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese – a creamy, cheesy, macaroni and cheese that is made completely in the crock pot!
This last weekend we were at my son’s Lego Robotics state competition. I have talked about it a few times before, so if you are a regular you know they were competing at the State competition. Well, they did awesome!!! They placed 4th in the robot games and 1st in robot design. They worked so hard, so it was great to see them recognized for their hard work. They got to go to school yesterday and tell all of their friends and teachers how the competition went. Everyone was so excited!
Did you know that today is National Cheese Lover’s Day? We are totally celebrating with Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board and this Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese. I grew up in Wisconsin, and am just a little partial to real Wisconsin Cheese. Even in Colorado, I have to search out cheese that is from Wisconsin. And my in-laws always bring a cooler with a few of our favorites with them when they come to visit. So when I was asked if I wanted to be a part of this day, how could I say no?!
For some reason people often think that making homemade macaroni and cheese is a hard thing to do. It is actually really easy. And when you can make it in your crock pot, that is even easier! I used sharp cheddar cheese and cream cheese to make this super creamy, cheesy, and delicious! All you have to do is mix everything together, turn on your slow cooker, and let it go! Dinner is ready a few hours later, and can just sit back and take the compliments. Trust me, your family is going to love this slow cooker macaroni and cheese, and you are going to love how easy it is!!
