Chocolate Banana White Chocolate Chip Muffins – Moist and tender chocolate and banana muffins with lots of white chocolate chips.

Chocolate Banana White Chocolate Chip Muffins - Moist and tender chocolate and banana muffins with lots of white chocolate chips.

Today is my husband’s 35th birthday!  Luckily he has the day off from work, and my son has the day off from school.  So a nice long weekend to celebrate for us!  And in case you missed it over the weekend, we celebrated by buying a house!

It is official now, we are under contract to purchase a home in the neighborhood we want.  It will be a couple months before we can move in, but that is ok we have a plan!  The house wasn’t on the market yet, and I completely forgot when we were in there, so I don’t have any pictures to share 🙁

I have another muffin recipe for you today.  I found this recipe for Chocolate Banana White Chocolate Chip Muffins over at For the Love of Cooking.  If you haven’t checked out Pam’s site, you really should.  There are hundreds of amazing recipes on her site.

This was no exception.  There is a hint of banana flavor, they are chocolatey, moist, and delicious.  I used white/semi-sweet chocolate swirl chips, because that is what I had on hand.  The original recipe calls for plain white chocolate, so feel free to use whatever you have available.

i have been on the hunt for a banana chocolate chip muffin recipe! i made some the other week and they tasted like cardboard! the recipe didn’t call for any butter or oil, so that may be why… haha! But these look incredible…! love banana and chocolate together.

I think you need to start a muffin store to sell all of these fabulous creations. I also wish that the house you bought was close to where I live so I could stop by and have one of these.

My daughter has been begging for chocolate muffins for breakfast for some time. This might just do the trick! I love every flavor in these. I usually don’t like sweet stuff for breakfast, but I would love to have one of these after dinner when the kids are in bed to satisfy my sweet tooth. Great picture too!

Erin, first of all, congratulations on your new home! That’s an exciting news! I always dream about moving to a different place but in reality it’s so hard with the kids (and so much stuff). Hope everything will go smoothly for you. And Happy Birthday to your hubby! These cupcakes look really delicious! I’ve never used chocolate chips that has swirl in it – they look so cute!

Totally want me some banana muffins now… With chocolate and chocolate chips 😀 You tongs are coming soon btw. They got a little over booked this week and he hasn’t had a moment to sit in his wood shop and work which is driving him crazy. He says he will have them finished this weekend.

Easy and super delicious. I dumped the whole 12 oz. bag of white chocolate chips into the batter and mixed it up, rather than ¾ cup and then adding some to the top and pushing it down. Seemed like a step that doesn’t need to be there. They come out so yummy and moist. I shared some with a couple of my favorite teachers at my kids’ school and also my mother in law. They got rave reviews! My kids just looooove them too. Great recipe!
