Thousand Island Dressing – a quick and easy homemade dressing. Creamy, sweet, tangy and so much better than the store bought version in just minutes!
Creamy, tangy, and just a little bit sweet, Homemade Thousand Island Dressing is a classic that’s easy to make from scratch. With simple ingredients like mayo, ketchup, and relish, it comes together in minutes and adds bold flavor to everything from salads to sandwiches.

Making it at home means you can adjust the flavors to your liking and skip the preservatives found in store-bought versions. It’s perfect for drizzling over salads, spreading on burgers, or using as a dipping sauce.
Versions of this dressing can be found as the “special sauce” on so many burgers across the country. My Big Mac Salad has a very similar version of this for the dressing, with thousand island as an alternative.
