Chocolate Covered Pretzels – super easy and fun treat for any occasion. Pretzels dipping in white chocolate and coated in sprinkles.
What a busy weekend! Our new fridge is here! I am super excited to have a new fridge. I have wanted a French door one for years, and it is all I hoped it would be. There is so much storage it is crazy. I feel like I need to go shopping just to fill it up. My last fridge was so small, so it will take awhile to get used to all of this extra space. Saturday night I took my 9 year old to a hockey game. A friend gave us tickets, and we had 2nd row seats right near the penalty box. My son was in absolute heaven. You could see everything, and it was right in front of you. He loves just about any sporting event, but this is the closest we have ever gotten, and he loved it!
Valentine’s day is this weekend. Do you have plans? Do you have a babysitter, or do you celebrate as a family? We celebrate as a family, and we usually stay home to avoid all the crowds. I am not sure what we will do this year, but I guess I better get a plan in place. I did make these cute chocolate covered pretzels to help celebrate. They are beyond easy, and very festive! Great to send in your child’s lunchbox, or to just have for a treat at home.
You could completely coat the pretzels in white chocolate, but this method is kind of the cheater way. To make these chocolate covered pretzels, I just held onto the top of the pretzel, and dipped it in chocolate. After shaking off the excess, I sprinkled with Valentine’s sprinkles. You could easily use forks and cover the whole pretzel, but I am all about fast and easy. Make these chocolate covered pretzels for any occasion and just mix up the sprinkles that you put on them!
- 1 pound white chocolate , melted
- colored sprinkles
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Hold onto the top of the pretzel. Dip in melted chocolate. Gently shake off the excess.
- Hold over the lined baking sheet, sprinkle with the colored sprinkles.
- Place on baking sheet to let the chocolate harden.
