Cookies and Cream Bars – chewy cookie bars loaded with cookies n’ cream candy and cookies! A sweet treat that will disappear in no time.

This post is sponsored by Imperial Sugar. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Cookies are always a great dessert, everyone loves them. But sometimes they can take awhile, when you have to scoop the balls of dough and bake just a sheet or two at a time. Not with these Cookies and Cream Bars. Everything bakes in one pan, and they are ready in no time!

This takes your favorite chocolate chip cookie base and turns it into something extra tasty!

What makes these bars extra delicious? Not only are they loaded with Oreo cookies, but also cookies n’ cream candy! So you get the soft buttery cookies that you know and love, but taken to a whole new level.

What You’ll Need

Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for the FULL PRINTABLE recipe card.

  • Butter – I always use unsalted butter in baking
  • Granulated Sugar – I used Imperial Sugar in this recipe
  • Brown Sugar – I used Imperial Sugar in this recipe
  • Egg
  • Vanilla Extract
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Oreo Cookies
  • Cookies n’ Cream Candy

You can use the Hershey Cookies n’ Cream Bars or the Kisses – either work, so whatever you can find. You just want to coarsely chop them.

How To Make Cookies and Cream Bars

  1. In an electric stand mixer cream together the butter with the sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg, until the egg is fully incorporated.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix until just combined.
  4. Using a spatula fold in the chopped cookies and candy until well blended.
  5. Press the dough into an 8 inch square baking dish and bake for about 25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing to serve.

Storage

Once the bars have cooled, cover and keep them at room temperature for 3-4 days.

Freezing – These bars are great in the freezer. I like to slice them first, just so they thaw quicker or you can take 1-2 out instead of the whole pan. Just let them thaw at room temperature to serve.

Can I Double The Recipe

Absolutely! This makes an 8-inch square pan as written. You can definitely just double the ingredients and follow the recipe as written. Then you can just bake them in a 13×9 inch pan.
