Cranberry Vodka Cocktail – cranberry juice and vodka come together with a little fizz for a fun and easy holiday drink.

Cranberry Vodka Cocktail - cranberry juice and vodka come together with a little fizz for a fun and easy holiday drink.

Let’s keep this short and sweet today.  I have a fun cocktail for you.  It is perfect for your holiday get together, New Years Eve, or just because you have some cranberries lying around.  Vodka and Cranberry is a very classic drink, I just added some fizz.  I have a thing about fizz.  For some reason, I think that cocktails need to have fizz in them!  Call me crazy, or call me genius – just make this drink.

Cranberry and vodka is a classic cocktail combination.  It is simple, tangy, and just plain delicious. As much as I like the classic combination, I always have to mix things up.  So I added a little splash of something fizzy.  Because by this point, we all know I like my cocktail with some fizz!!  I mean Skinny Mojitos are probably my new favorite.

Cranberry vodka cocktail is just one of those drinks you can throw together on a Friday night or you can serve at a party.  The fresh cranberries, when it season, just give it a little something extra for presentation.  Definitely not required.  Add a slice of lime and you will something pretty enough to serve at your fanciest party!

You can make this cranberry vodka cocktail for just one, or make a whole pitcher of them!  If you make a whole picture, leave out the ginger ale until you serve.  Just let each person add a splash as they pour one.

Or put out a big punch bowl, and add the ginger ale right as your guests arrive. Less work for you, and the drink stays fizzy.  If you are feeling festive, add a little squeeze of lime to the drink for a little twist.
