Recipe Tips & Suggestions

  • Keep It Frozen. This melts quickly! It is very thin, so it will warm up quickly when you remove it from the freezer. So only take out what you are going to eat, right before you are going to enjoy it. It isn’t great for a lunchbox or it will just melt.
  • Toppings. You can use whatever fruit you like and have on hand! I obviously used strawberries and blueberries because those are our favorite. But other berries, kiwi, banana, even pineapple. Anything goes. Chopped nuts, granola, mini chocolate chips….whatever you like with your yogurt works here.
  • Yogurt. You can use any type of yogurt you like. If you want the protein go for Greek yogurt, but regular yogurt works too. You can use flavored, plain, or whatever you have. If using plain you can drizzle honey over the top to sweeten it up if desired. So many options.
  • Use a Liner. You need to line your baking tray with either parchment paper or a silicone liner. Foil will work as well. But if you spread the yogurt directly on the tray, you will never get it off after it freezes.
