Sometimes you just want cookies for breakfast. You know that isn’t wise, but it doesn’t stop you from wanting them, does it? OK, maybe this is just me. I have a horrible sweet tooth, and could eat dessert all day every day. So instead of cookies for breakfast, I made pancakes. They aren’t health food, but they are way better for you than cookies would be for you 🙂
For these pancakes I used I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® in place of the butter, I normally would have used. Did you know that I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® has 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter. It doesn’t have any cholesterol or hydrogenated oils either, so there’s 0g trans fat per serving. But you are not sacrificing on the buttery taste that you are looking for. All of this combined with the whole wheat flour make oatmeal chocolate chip pancakes a good breakfast choice.
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® and Country Crock® want to make food and family come together. That is why they developed these spreads that are made with a blend of oils rich in Omega-3 ALA. Developing healthy habits that are still delicious is important to everyone! You can check out itsgoodtoknow.com for other great recipes using I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® and Country Crock®. Plus you have the chance to win a $50 gift card to Walmart, so you can try out these spreads on your own!
