Oven S’mores – You don’t need a campfire for s’mores! Make 1 or make 20 in just minutes using the oven!

If you are like me you absolutely love s’mores, but having a fire outside just isn’t always possible. There are only a few months of the year you have a fire. Plus I live in Colorado and most of those months we are under a fire ban because it is so dry.

So indoor s’mores is the best alternative! Just minutes, no mess, and just as good!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • No mess. Ok, you still have sticky marshmallows, but no fire, wood, ashes, messy sticks etc that you have to clean up!
  • Ready in minutes! Seriously, from turning on the oven to enjoy a s’more is probably 8 minutes tops.
  • You can use any crackers or chocolate you like! I went classic with graham crackers and Hershey bars, but you can use Ritz crackers and Reese’s peanut butter cups or use Caramelo for that gooey caramel….the possibilities are endless!
  • Make just 1 or make 20, you are only limited by how many crackers and ingredients you have. But it is so easy to make exactly just what you want.

Oven S’mores

The perfect s’mores any day of the week. Usually you think of them as a summer treat when you are camping or at the beach or just getting together with friends. But you really can make them in minutes, and enjoy them any time the cravings strike!

S’mores Cookie Bars, S’mores Brownies and even these S’mores Cookies are a great way to get the flavor in other forms of dessert. But sometimes you just want that classic s’more with a perfectly toasted marshmallow!

What You’ll Need

  • Graham Crackers
  • Hershey Chocolate Bars
  • Marshmallows

I use the s’mores sized marshmallows for these, but you can use the traditional size. It really doesn’t matter, use what you have!

How To Make Oven S’mores

Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for the FULL PRINTABLE recipe card.

  1. Arrange half sheets of graham crackers on your baking tray, use as many as you want to make.
  2. Top each cracker with 3 squares of Hershey’s chocolate, and a marshmallow.
  3. Place under the broiler for about a minute. Keep a close eye on them, they brown quickly!
  4. Remove from the oven and place the other half of a cracker over the marshmallows.

Recipe Tips

  • You really need to keep an eye on them when they are in the oven. If you want the perfectly soft, gooey, and golden brown marshmallow, place the tray on the lowest rack. It will take closer to 2 minutes, but will be perfectly golden when you take it out.
  • Like dark burnt marshmallows? Place them on the top rack and let them go for about 1 minute.
  • Mix up the chocolate and crackers. Ritz crackers, pb cups, caramel filled candy, dark chocolate, drizzle with caramel….so many options!

  1. This is such a great recipe. This is the perfect thing for an indoor campout! It’s so easy, too, which I love.
