Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, easy dinner with tender chicken in a rich garlic parmesan sauce. Perfect for a comforting slow cooker meal.
Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the kind of dinner that delivers big flavor with almost no effort. The chicken slowly cooks in a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce and gets tossed with pasta for a delicious and easy dinner.

This is one of those recipes that is perfect for busy schedules since the slow cooker does most of the work. Store bought sauce gives you so much flavor and so little work, that you can always have the ingredients on hand for this one. It’s simple, flavorful, and one of those dinners everyone asks for again.

Ingredients You’ll Need
Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for the FULL PRINTABLE recipe card.
- Chicken Breasts – you can definitely use chicken thighs as well, the cook time will be about the same.
- Parmesan Garlic Wing Sauce – you can buy this in most grocery stores and it is just a great shortcut to give a ton of flavor.
- Milk – you could use heavy cream or any milk product you like. You pour just a little bit in the bottle of sauce to get it all out and thin the sauce a little.
- Cream Cheese
- Parmesan Cheese
- Pasta – you can use any shape and cut of pasta you like. I prefer short cut like Rigatoni, but anything works great.

Recipe Tips & Suggestions
- Cook on Low. I really recommend cooking chicken on low in the slow cooker. It can dry out very quickly, and 3 hours on low gives you tender and juicy chicken every time.
- The Sauce. Yes, this is Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan Sauce. It makes this such an easy dinner without measuring a ton of spices or anything else. Don’t skip the step of pouring the milk in to clean out the jar. It is rather thick and sticks, so you want to make sure to get all that flavor.
- Add Veggies. You can definitely add in your favorite veggies if you want to make this a complete meal. You could add in some broccoli florets or bell peppers. Stir in some frozen peas at the end. Add spinach – add it to the sauce while you are shredding the chicken. Just allow it to wilt in the heat of the sauce before serving.
- Instant Pot. Want speed things up and make this in the pressure cooker. Add everything, but the pasta to the Instant Pot and cook under high pressure for 14 minutes (depending on the size of your chicken, if they are small you can reduce the time). Release the pressure, shred and toss with cooked pasta.

Serving Suggestions
This is one of those hearty dinners you don’t need a lot to go with it. Caesar Salad or a simple Tossed Salad are usually my go to. But if I am feeling ambitious I will make either Little Caesars Crazy Bread or Soft Breadsticks so you have something to soak up all the sauce.
Storage
Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can reheat in the microwave until it is warmed through. You may need to add a splash of milk or cream to get it to loosen up and the sauce to come together.
I do not recommend freezing this. The sauce breaks apart and doesn’t work great after it is frozen.
