What a fantastic weekend! I met some really amazing women, and had a wonderful time in Florida. Disney really knows how to put on a conference. Hopefully over the next few months you will get to see all the stuff I learned, put into action here. Stay tuned on Thursday for some details and pictures of the weekend!
I’m leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again. Sorry, every time I get on a plane that song gets stuck in my head. I have my dad to thank for that one! I do know when I will be back…Sunday night. I am headed to sunny Florida for Food Blog Forum this weekend. It will be an amazing weekend, and I am so excited it is finally here!
It is Friday, are you ready for the weekend? Do you have something special planned for Mom on Sunday? I sent my Mom and MIL special gifts in the mail this week. As for our house, I leave that up to the boys. Usually my husband does a great job of doing something special for me on Mother’s Day. Last year we went mini-golfing, he made breakfast and lunch for us, and then we all made homemade pasta for dinner. Personally, I don’t need much. Doing the dishes, and cooking a meal is perfect in my book.

Monday is here, and I am ready to cheer you up with some Nutella! After such a great weekend, I need a little pick me up. We had gorgeous weather. There was double header flag football games, a football team picnic, seeds and plants were put in the garden, and lots of basketball was played (my 8 year got a basketball hoop for his birthday). So today definitely calls for Nutella
Summer is almost here! Or so the calendar tells me. We haven’t really had much of a spring here yet this year. This weekend is in the 70′s though, so maybe it has finally arrived! To get you ready for summer, I made you chocolate 
You know, because summer means ice cream! You can’t have ice cream without hot fudge, it is just wrong.

Spring has arrived to most of the country. Apparently not here though. School was cancelled today because of snow. And it is coming down like crazy out there right now. We are even talking about going snowshoeing this weekend, we have gotten so much snow. I am ready for warm weather, capris, and grilling out. All of which seem like a long way off at this point.
We had a very busy weekend around here! My parents came to visit for a few days, so we have been busy with them. My 7 year old is going to be 8 very soon, so there was lots of birthday celebration going on as well. My brother and SIL came up for the day to help celebrate. My 7 year old had a flag football game last night, and another one tonight. So given all the busy going on, I am all about easy right now!

I have not gotten back into the swing of things with the blog since getting back from vacation. Today was the first day I felt like my house was back and order and life was back to normal. So maybe tomorrow the blog will be back in the normal swing of things. Just in time for a 4 day weekend for my 7 year old, and my parents to visit.
Desserts two days in a row. Sorry about that. OK…..maybe not. Hopefully you will forgive me. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake I shared with you yesterday was just a necessary thing in life. I think most of us can agree chocolate and peanut butter is one of lifes most perfect pairings. So I just had to show you what I did with it!
