I am officially OBSESSED with this recipe for Oreo fluff, a.k.a. Oreo dip! This is a simple and sweet no-bake dessert made from a handful of ingredients in just a few minutes. And it gets better: It’s creamy and decadent, a little tangy (like an Oreo cheesecake), and packed full of crunchy chunks of crushed Oreo cookies. I dare you to resist this stuff! This easy Oreo fluff is perfect for dessert served with cookies, graham crackers, or fresh fruit for dipping.

Why You’ll Love This Oreo Fluff Recipe

  • Oreo flavor. This easy Oreo dip is packed full of cookies and cream flavor! It’s like a big bowl of Oreo creme brimming with even more Oreos.
  • Ridiculously easy. Just like my brownie batter dip, hot chocolate dip, and cookie dough dip, this fluff is an easy no-bake dessert that’s ready in a snap. All it takes to make this fluff recipe is 5 ingredients and less than 5 minutes.
  • Irresistible. Fair warning: this Oreo dip is seriously addictive! Use it for dipping cookies and fruit, or eat it by the spoonful. It’s so easy to make that you’ll be whipping up bowl after bowl.

What Is Oreo Fluff Made Of?

Below is a short overview with some notes on your Oreo fluff ingredients. Scroll down to the recipe card for a printable ingredients list.

  • Cream Cheese – Use full-fat cream cheese that comes in bricks (not tubs). Take your package of cream cheese out of the fridge ahead of time so that it can soften.
  • Powdered Sugar – Also called confectioner’s sugar, powdered sugar keeps the consistency smooth. I don’t recommend replacing powdered sugar with granulated sugar.
  • Vanilla – For the best possible flavor, be sure to use real vanilla extract.
  • Cool Whip – One tub, thawed. You can also use homemade stabilized whipped cream.
  • Oreo Cookies – You can use regular or Double-Stuf Oreos, or any kind of Oreo you’d like.

How to Make Oreo Dip

Here are the 3 easy steps to make light and creamy Oreo fluff! Scroll down to the recipe card for printable instructions.

  • Crush the Oreo cookies. Add the Oreos to a zip-top bag, and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies into large-ish chunks.
  • Make the fluff. Whip together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
  • Add the Oreos. Fold in the Cool Whip and Oreo chunks, and voila! Once everything is well mixed, serve your Oreo fluff in a bowl and garnish with extra Oreo crumbs.

Tips and Variation Ideas

This Oreo dip is one of the easiest no-bake desserts you’ll ever make! Here are my final tips, along with some easy variations that you can try:

  • Don’t crush the cookies too finely. You don’t want to grind the Oreos into fine crumbs. Aim for big chunks so that they stand out in the dip.
  • Different cookies. Make this fluff with any type of cookie you’d like! Easily swap regular Oreos for another variety, like Mint Oreos or Golden Oreos. Or, try another type of cookie altogether. Try crushed gingersnaps, chocolate peanut butter cookies, or chocolate chip cookies. Anything goes!
  • Mix-ins. Add mix-ins like chocolate chips, brownie chunks, mini marshmallows, chopped chocolate bars, M&Ms, or crushed peppermint candy.
  • Add sprinkles. Making this Oreo dip for a party? Make it festive with rainbow sprinkles!

What to Serve With Oreo Fluff

Serve Oreo fluff as a sweet dessert dip with a platter of graham crackers, Nilla wafers, chocolate-covered pretzels, waffle cones, animal crackers, and more Oreos for dunking. We also love dipping strawberries, apple slices, and fresh fruit! This Oreo dip makes a delicious addition to a dessert board during the holidays and on Game Day (picture the dessert version of a charcuterie board). Or, enjoy a bowlful as a romantic dessert for two on Valentine’s Day.

How to Store Leftovers

  • Fridge. Oreo fluff can be made a day or two in advance and kept airtight in the fridge. If you have leftovers, you can store them for up to 3 days. Consider stirring the dip and adding in some fresh Oreo chunks before serving.
  • Freeze. I don’t recommend freezing Oreo fluff as the texture tends to change after it’s frozen and defrosted. It’s 100% worth whipping up a fresh batch!

I am so excited to make this! I'm a big fan of the filling in Oreos. Will it change anything if I make these with Double Stuff Oreos?
