These brownies are everything!
That’s too funny that the store was packed at 6am! I am so intrigued by the idea of crockpot brownies. They look delicious!
Never knew you could make brownies in the slow cooker. Those brownies look amazing! I wish I had some for dessert now. Yum!
What size crockpot?
I used a 6 quart crock pot, but you could use smaller. Just check them for doneness, and you should be good!
This is type of dessert that I would like to have it right know. So yummy! Pinning!
Am I able to use hot fudge in a jar instead of the mixture you call for??
Yes, that should work just fine. Enjoy!
do you think I could double the recipe?? Want to make this for a work lunch and I need to make at least double the batch
Definitely, You might have to cook it for longer though. Keep an eye on it, but it should work. Enjoy!
How do you know when the brownies are done? I’m making them now and the edges are brown, but the middle is still runny. They have been cooking for 2hrs.
The middle will be set. Similar to regular brownies – you can put in a toothpick to see if it comes out mostly clean. If you leave them slightly underdone, it will be more like lava cake…which isn’t all bad either!
Ok thanks. They have been cooking for about 3 1/2 hours and the middle is still runny.
Every crock pot is so different unfortunately!! The newer they are, the faster they cook! So it really is kind of trial and error. Hope they turned out!
HELP! What size crock pot? I don’t want the brownies to be too thin or thick…
I used a 6 quart crock pot, but slightly bigger or smaller would work fine. Just watch for the cooking time to make sure they are done.
Hi how can I make these without the brownie mix?
You can use your favorite homemade brownie batter or cake mix. Cooking time may vary because of the size of the recipe. But both will bake up in a crock pot just fine!
