What You’ll Need

Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for the FULL PRINTABLE recipe card.

  • White Chocolate
  • Royal Icing – recipe included below
  • Peanut Butter Cups
  • Candy Eyes
  • Red & Black Food Coloring

There are a couple different options for making this melted snowman bark. I used royal icing to make the buttons and the arms. I just made a small batch of royal icing, and the colored some red and some black.

You can use the royal icing for the eyes too, but I used the candy eyes you can find with the cake decorating stuff at your local craft store. You could even use mini chocolate chips if you wanted.  Whatever you use it will be adorable and everyone will love it.

How To Make Melted Snowman Bark

  • Make the royal icing, color half black and half red. Then place in small piping bags or sandwich bags that you can cut off the top.
  • Melt the white chocolate and spread evenly on a lined baking sheet. You want to line with parchment paper or a silicon liner or it will be impossible to remove it from the pan.
  • Place candy eyes in pairs around melted chocolate.
  • Pipe red buttons below the eyes. Pipe black stick arms coming out from the buttons.
  • Gently press peanut butter cups halves over eyes to make a hat.
  • Let cool completely and set up before breaking/slicing into snowmen.

This melted snowman bark is really customizable and up to you how you make it.  All you really need to do is pipe on the royal icing to make the buttons and the arms and people will think they are adorable. Plus there is a peanut butter cup as the hat, and everyone loves peanut butter cups.

Let the chocolate set up completely, and then you can slice into individual snowman. This is great to package as gifts to give to teachers or neighbors. If you are having a party, you could even just set out the tray, and let people break off parts as they want.
