No Bake Jello Pie – Just a couple of ingredients are needed to make this super easy jello pie!  You can mix up the flavor with any kind of jello you like!

I love a good no bake dessert.  They are what I survive on in the summer, because I just don’t want to turn on the oven to make my favorite Gooey Brownie Pie. Plus they are usually light and creamy so they feel like they are meant for summer.

This No Bake Kool Aid Pie started the obsession, and now I am using instant jello mix to see what else you can do with just a couple of ingredients!

Easy no bake jello pie using strawberry jello. Topped with whipped cream and strawberries

This strawberry pie with jello gets its flavor from the strawberry jello mix.  You can definitely mix it up and use Cherry, Orange, Lime, Raspberry or whatever other jello flavor you like.  The process is the same no matter what!

I love how easy this jello pie is to make. The kids can make it themselves, so you can just sit back and supervise. You can even top with fresh fruit to identify the flavor.  I like to top with whipped cream and just a few strawberries on the side.  And if you have a ton of strawberries, this Strawberry Cheesecake Lasagna is another no bake must!

Ingredients Needed for Jello Pie

  • Packet of Instant Jello Mix
  • Container of Cool Whip
  • Graham Cracker Crust
  • Water

Seriously, that is it!  Just 4 ingredients and you have a creamy and delicious pie.  Some of your water needs to be boiling to dissolve the jello mix, and then you need ice water to cool it down and start the thickening process.  But still, just water. If you want to up your game and make homemade whipped cream for this pie, go for it. But cool whip is super easy to have on hand so you can make this any day of the week.

You can make this with any flavor of jello you like; lemon, lime, cherry, blue raspberry etc.  The recipe never changes!  You could even mix in some diced fresh fruit into the pie to give it some texture and more flavor.

Summer should be about spending time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors and going on vacation.  Not about spending all your time in the kitchen!  So easy no bake desserts like this and these Avalanche Cookies are great for when you want to enjoy life.

This jello pie is fun for the kids to make, because when you change the flavor of the pie the color changes too!  So you can make a blue raspberry pie topped with whipped cream and strawberries and have red, white and blue for the 4th of July! Or you can change the color to go with the theme of a birthday party or their favorite color.  So many options!

Can You Use A Premade Crust

Absolutely!  Just skip the ingredients for the crust and those steps in the instruction.  I like to make my own, but you can easily buy one at the store to make this even faster and easier.

Can I Use Real Whipped Cream

Yes, you do not need to use the frozen whipped topping for this recipe.  I like it because it is just so easy to use and holds up well.  But if you want to use real whipped cream, it absolutely works in this recipe. Mix 1 cup of heavy with 3 Tbsp powdered sugar in a mixer until stiff peaks.  Then just gently fold in the recipe where it calls for the Cool Whip.

  1. I used whipped cream from a can and I mixed in frozen blueberries into strawberry jello. I love it. So easy. Just keep in mind, some fruits like pineapple and kiwi won’t work in jello.
