We finally had a relaxing weekend.  How was yours?  We have been very busy this summer, and this weekend we decided to just hang at home the 3 of us.  We got out the new smoker and smoked a tri-tip on Saturday.  It was so good!! Stay tuned for an awesome giveaway and recipe soon.  I was able to get laundry done, my house pretty clean, our meal plan done, and I even grocery shopped.  I feel like this week should be the easiest ever with everything all prepped and ready for me.  Maybe that means we will have more time for some last minute summer fun before school starts!

With summer coming to an end (at least school is starting soon), it is time to accomplish some of those things you have had on your to do list.  For me, that was to make homemade popsicles.  My 10 year old loves popsicles, strawberry popsicles in particular; what kid doesn’t?    I have been wanting to try Greek yogurt popsicles, so I could feel even better about saying yes when he wanted one.  So last week I crossed this item off my to make list, and he was super excited.  I combined his love for strawberry popsicles, with my wanting to make a Greek yogurt popsicle.  He had a friend over on Friday and had to show them off and shared one with his friend, so I think you can say they were a hit!

These Strawberry Greek yogurt popsicles are super easy to make.  I just chopped up some strawberries and let them sit together with a little sugar until they were nice and juicy.  Then you just blend together with Greek yogurt and you are done. We still love the strawberry popsicles I usually make, but the yogurt makes these creamier and more even delicious.  It almost seems like you are getting an ice cream treat, but it is good for you.  Homemade popsicles are so easy and fun, they definitely need to happen again before school starts here…..and maybe again after.
