This Tuscan chicken pasta is made with half and half or whole milk, so it is better alternative that Spinach Chicken Alfredo. But can you really ever go wrong with alfredo?

- Chicken Breast
- Mushrooms
- Italian Style Diced Tomatoes
- Half-n-Half or Whole Milk
- Garlic
- Olive Oil

Dreamfields has the taste and al dente texture of traditional pasta, yet each one cup cooked serving of pasta has 5 grams of fiber (20% of the daily recommended intake) and 7 grams of plant protein. So you can make something a little creamy and still enjoy it!
How To Make Tuscan Chicken Pasta
- The first step is to start cooking the pasta. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook angel hair pasta according to the package directions. You can use another cut of pasta if you like, I just like angel hair because it cooks so quickly!
- While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Coat the pan with some of the olive oil and then add the chicken to the pan, and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
- Add the remaining olive oil to the pan. Then add in the mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
- Add the garlic to the mushrooms and let it cook for 1 minute, or until you can just start to smell the garlic.
- Pour the can of tomatoes over mushrooms and let simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in half and half and add chicken to the pan. Heat until everything is warmed through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss with the cooked pasta and top with grated Parmesan cheese to serve.
