Garlic Bread In Air Fryer – This is such a super simple and easy way to make buttery garlic bread in the air fryer. Make it crispy or soft and chewy. Top with cheese or just garlic butter. Lots of options for whatever you crave!

Garlic bread just might be one of my all time favorite side dishes. It seriously goes with just about everything! You can serve with Italian food like Spaghetti with Meat Sauce or you can just serve with Oven Baked Pork Chops.

When you cook it in the air fryer it is ready in just a few minutes, and you can control if you want it to be soft and chewy or crispy. Plus you can add cheese or just leave it with the garlic butter. It is perfectly customizable for whatever your family likes.

What You’ll Need

  • Bread – you can use whatever bread you like here. Baguette slices, Texas toast, sour dough slices, Italian bread etc.
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Dried Parsley

You can add Parmesan cheese if you like or even shredded Mozzarella is great if you like Cheesy Garlic Bread.

How To Make Garlic Bread In Air Fryer

  1. Mix together softened butter with garlic and dried parsley until it is well combined.
  2. Spread over slices of bread
  3. Arrange in a single layer of your air fryer
  4. Cook 350º for 6 minutes. If you like it soft and chewy check the bread at 4 minutes.

Make Ahead

One of the best parts of this recipe is how you can make it ahead of time. I almost always have a box of frozen Texas toast garlic bread in my freezer, but with this, I no longer need that. I can make this recipe, that tastes so much better, and have it ready to just grab and go.

All you have to do is spread the garlic butter on each slice of bread and then arrange on a baking sheet. Put in the freezer until the bread is completely frozen, and then transfer to an freezer safe plastic bag. Now when you want to make garlic bread, you just take out however many slices you want and cook them!

If you are cooking the bread directly from the freezer reduce the temperature to 340º F and cook for a minute or two longer. Check and adjust the time to get it to your desired crispiness.

Recipe Tips

  • There is no need to preheat the air fryer for this recipe. Just add the slices of bread and cook to your desired crispiness.
  • Mix up the seasoning. I added dried parsley for just a little bit of color, but if you want more flavor at Italian Seasoning. If you like things spicy, add a few flakes of crushed red pepper.
  • Like it cheesy? Mix in 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese with the butter. Or sprinkle your favorite shredded cheese over the bread before you start the air fryer.
  • Make sure to arrange the bread in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You don’t want to have the slices overlap or it will not cook evenly.

To make this recipe I used a Cosori 5.8 Qt Air Fryer. It is big enough that you can fit plenty of food in, and the basket comes out so you can easily shake, stir, or flip whatever you are making.
