Hot Sausage Dip – a creamy, cheesy, hot sausage dip that is perfect for any get together. Make ahead and heat in the crock pot for the big game!
Friday afternoon my 9 year old was in his school spelling bee. He was one of two, 4th graders to be part of it. He ended up placing 6th. I was beyond nervous to watch him. He didn’t look like he was nervous up there, but later told us he was really nervous. We thought it was just going to be the parents that watched, but they ended up bringing in the entire 4th and 5th grade to watch. So there was about 250 people they had to spell in front of! Talk about a lot of pressure for a 9 year old!!
So the big game is only days away. I shared a Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Dip with you last week that would be a great addition to any get together. This hot sausage dip is another one you really should consider. Creamy, cheesy, a tiny bit spicy, and full of sausage! Super easy to throw together in just minutes. Then you let the crock pot do the work to heat it up. Perfect to make the day before. With corn chips this is down right addicting!
I made this hot sausage dip for our family get together a few couple weeks ago. I made it a couple days before and just had it in the fridge until the day of. Then I put it in the slow cooker a few hours before I was going to serve it. Tortilla chips and Fritos were definitely the hit for dipping. I think you could even use this over nachos and it would be amazing!
