Copycat Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade

Copycat Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade – Skip the line at Starbucks and make your own cool and refreshing Iced Passion Tea Lemonade at home! Just a few simple ingredients and you can be enjoying this drink in minutes.

I could live on iced tea pretty much all year round.  In the winter I like a good cup of hot tea, but I really could drink iced tea in place of water and be a happy person.  I grew up with always have a pitcher of tea in the fridge, so now I like to continue that.

I am kind of a sucker for Starbucks iced tea too.  I am not a coffee drinker, but I love their iced green tea, with no sweetener!  I mean sweet tea is good like this Strawberry Sweet Tea. But I am not a fan of sweet tea like in the South.

Today we are taking a couple of my favorites and making a Starbucks copycat recipe.  The Passion Iced Tea at Starbucks is delicious. It is slightly sweet but not too sweet. And the flavor is just different enough from regular iced tea that I love it.  And in the summer I like to get the passion iced tea lemonade at Starbucks.

Passion tea lemonade is pretty much just a mix of passion iced tea with lemonade. And then you add a little bit of sweetener to taste.  It is cool, refreshing and totally delicious!  And now you can make it at home! And if you like flavored teas don’t miss my Peach Tea Punch!

How to make Iced Tea

  • Iced tea really just takes 2 things – tea bags and water.  Start by boiling water.
  • You will need to read the package to be sure how many tea bags to how much water. But usually 1 tea bag for 8 oz water
  • Once the water is boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags.
  • Then just let it sit for a few minutes. The box will tell you how long.  I usually go 5-6 minutes.
  • Once the time is up remove the tea bags and put the tea in the fridge to get nice and cold!

Iced tea lemonade is a great summer drink. You get half sweet and tangy lemonade and half tea. This obviously uses passion tea, but you can mix it up and use other flavors of tea as well.

So the next time you are wondering what to get, try a Starbucks iced tea when you are there.  And be sure to make this version at home.  So much cheaper for sure, and just as tasty!  Plus you can easily control how much sweetener you add.  If you like a lot, no problem!
